Bike
Cycling is a commonly used alternative to driving or traveling by public transport. Cycling or traveling by e-bike promotes sustainable development in several ways. Physical activity improves health, releases fewer damaging emissions into the atmosphere and saves money.

Bikesharing in Bern
For some years now, bike sharing has been enjoying increasing popularity worldwide. Since June 2018, bicycles and e-bikes can also be rented in Bern at specific points in the city and can be returned to another location. The largest bike-sharing network in Switzerland is currently being built in the capital. About 200 stations with 2,400 bikes and e-bikes are planned with support extending up to 25 km/h. You will find a list of the current stations here.
The bikes can be rented using the SwissPass and PubliBike app. This is how it's done.
