Abatement

The past few years have seen the University of Bern implement measures aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Initially, this involved institution-wide measures (change in energy procurement, avoidance of air travel, promotion of digital event formats, etc.). We see a need for action when it comes to implementing central measures and designing participatory measures tailored to the needs of the faculties.

Measures and best practices that have already been implemented are presented here and are continuously updated.
